Alvy legal

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Alvy. These Terms explain how businesses may use Alvy and what responsibilities apply when using our digital loyalty platform.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Alvy website, dashboard, loyalty card system, wallet pass features, QR code tools, staff scanning features, and related services.

By creating an account, starting a free trial, subscribing, or using Alvy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Alvy.

2. About Alvy

Alvy provides digital loyalty tools for businesses, including digital loyalty cards, QR customer joining, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet support, staff scanning, customer stamp tracking, reward tracking, dashboards, analytics, and custom card branding.

3. Who Can Use Alvy

You may use Alvy only if you are at least 18 years old, authorised to represent the business you register, provide accurate information, operate legally, and comply with these Terms.

If you create an account on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have permission to bind that business to these Terms.

4. Business Account

You are responsible for keeping login details secure, ensuring staff accounts are used properly, keeping business information up to date, managing rewards honestly, and all activity under your business account.

5. Free Trial, Subscription, and Pricing

Alvy may offer a free trial. After the trial period ends, you must subscribe to continue using Alvy.

Alvy is provided on a subscription basis. The current standard subscription is Alvy Premium, shown clearly before checkout. Promotional pricing may be offered and plan prices may change over time with notice where required.

6. Payments and Cancellation

Payments may be handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to pay the subscription fees shown at checkout and keep payment details up to date.

You may cancel your subscription from your dashboard or by contacting support. Unless required by law, subscription payments are non-refundable once a billing period has started.

7. Branches, Locations, and Staff

Unless your plan states otherwise, one subscription is for one business branch or location. Each additional branch may require a separate subscription or branch fee.

Business owners may create staff accounts with limited access. You are responsible for giving staff correct access, removing staff who leave, and preventing misuse.

8. Loyalty Program Rules

Your business is responsible for setting and honouring stamp requirements, reward descriptions, expiry dates, redemption rules, exclusions, and limits.

Alvy provides the technology, but your business is responsible for the actual reward offered to customers. You must not advertise rewards you do not intend to provide.

9. Customer Data and Notifications

Businesses may collect customer information through Alvy, such as phone numbers, email addresses, customer IDs, loyalty progress, visit history, and reward status.

You are responsible for making sure you have a lawful reason to collect and use customer data. Alvy may process customer data on behalf of your business to provide the service.

If you use Alvy notifications, you must not spam customers or send misleading, offensive, or unlawful messages.

10. Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, QR Codes, and Scanning

Wallet features depend on Apple, Google, device compatibility, operating system settings, and third-party services. Alvy does not guarantee Wallet passes will work on every device.

You must not misuse QR codes, duplicate them for unauthorised branches, or use them in misleading ways. Alvy may disable QR codes used fraudulently, illegally, or outside your subscription plan.

11. Business Content and Prohibited Use

You confirm that you have the right to use any logos, business names, reward text, stamp icons, social media links, phone numbers, colours, and other content you upload.

You must not use Alvy for illegal products or services, fraudulent loyalty schemes, misleading rewards, spam, harassment, unauthorised personal data collection, or activity that breaches law or third-party platform rules.

12. Availability, Support, Analytics, and Results

We aim to keep Alvy reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, internet outages, third-party provider issues, security updates, or wallet platform changes.

Analytics are provided for guidance only. We do not guarantee that using Alvy will increase sales, revenue, customers, or retention.

13. Intellectual Property

Alvy owns or licenses the platform, software, dashboard design, website design, brand name, logo, code, templates, and system features. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or reproduce Alvy without permission.

You keep ownership of your business logo, branding, and uploaded content.

14. Suspension, Termination, and Liability

We may suspend or terminate your account if you fail to pay, misuse the platform, breach these Terms, provide false information, create risk for Alvy or others, or use Alvy unlawfully.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alvy is not responsible for loss of profits, sales, customers, business interruption, indirect losses, third-party platform failures, or Apple Wallet and Google Wallet limitations.

15. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local laws apply.
